 Coffee Creek's Country Battle of Bands! Official Rules: 1. The first unsigned country(21) bands to send their $25 entry fee will have the opportunity to open for Nashville, TN Country Artist "BlackHawk". To enter send your entry fee to CCMC, P.O. Box 31325, 73003 . Also, if you are a unsigned solo artist and would like to compete against other solo artists, you can send your entry fee of $25 to the same address above. All rules apply to solo artist as are posted below.. 2. Contestants must be ready to perform one (1) 30 minute set. I would recommend that you pick your favorite (3) songs to perform. 3. Unsigned Bands and Unsigned Solo Artist will given the time and date they will perform. The competition will be held on July 12th, 2008 at the Coffee Creek Music Complex located 4 1/2 miles N. of Marlow, OK on U.S. Hwy 81. 4. Contestants will provide their own instruments. CCMC will provide; PA/Stage Mointors and Soundman. 5. Each band/solo artist will conduct themselves in a professional, orderly and respectful fashion. 6. Competition will be judged by an Applause Meter and the Judges rulings. The Applause Meter will count for 40% of the tabulation. Judges will rate each band/artist on a scale of 1 - 50 points in the following categories: Appearance (10%), Originality (20%), and Overall Presentation (30%).. 8. CCMC reserves the right to update these rules at anytime. 9. All decisions of the judges are FINAL. First Place: Open for Nashville's Country artist - "BlackHawk" on Saturday, Aug. 9th, 2008 - $100 Cash and Live C.D. Recording Second Place: $75 and a Live C.D. recording. Third Place: $50 and a Live C.D. recording. Solo Artist Awards: First Place: $100 Cash and Live C.D. Demo Open at "BlackHawk" concert.. 2nd Place: $75 Cash and Live C.D. Demo. 3rd Place: $ 50 Cash and Live C.D. Demo **A winner in each catagory Band/Solo Artist will be chosen on July 12th and will perform again the evening of August 9th, 2008.
